At Queens Park with beautiful tulips |
Bile smpai kat Toowoomba tu, memang macam disambut oleh bunga2 dan pokok yg tengah berbunga. Dalam kepala fikir. "igtkan tak la obvious sgt spring season kat QLD ni, rupenye ade je". First tempat kami ke information counter sbb nk dapatkan Toowoomba map.
*(btw, map yg kene bayar $2, tak membantu kami langsung, map yg free sangat membantu)*
Yang bestnye, waktu kiteorang otw nak ke satu garden ni, somehow sesat then just follow satu bas persiaran kat depan kiteorang lpas tu end up kat sebuah rumah yg memang ramai sgt orang melawat. Rupa2nye rumah tu dapat Grand Prize Winner + 1st place for the Toowoomba Floral Competition.
Ni bukti tuan rumah letak menunjukkan umah die menang.. hebat hebat.. |
Sakura pun ade. Bunga sakura ni macam takkan kasi chance kat daun die nak tumbuh pun! |
Then, kteorang pergi two main gardens there (based on the recommendation by people)--> Queens Park dgn Laurel Bank Park. SubhanaAllah, both parks ni pun dah showed to us bnyak jenis bunga yang sangat tak terkira lawanya. Asyik snap pic je. Yg best tu, kiteorg lepak2 kat row yg ade bunga tulip almost half and hour despite people coming back and forth.. Who cares right? Hehe..Rase macam kat Amsterdam pulak. Penuh je dengan bunga.(baru kat toowoomba, mcm mane la pulak kat Amsterdam tu kan??) <-- based on the pics shown by my sister when she studied there.
Kteorg lunch dekat Queens Park tu sambil tengok bunge2, usha minah+mat2 saleh sambil dengar old country music yg merdu. How awesome is that? kteorg bertolak balik dalam pkul 5 ptg cmtu, then terus ke rumah kakak postgrad around Brisbane ni jugak sebab akak tu held an open house. Iranian's food tuu!
They decorate the flowers based on cartoon characters : Felix the Cat! |
Seriously tenung lame2 tulips ni takkan boring. Trust me :P |
Reminder for me selepas rehlah seharian..
Extra Info: "The sweet violet was declared Toowoomba’s Floral Emblem at a meeting of
Council on 11th January 1932. the mothers and other family members of
the lads who went to war in 1914-1918, picked and sold bunches of
violets to raise funds. the bunches each held 50 blooms and three
leaves, tied with cotton and were sold for threepence. 1800 pounds were
raised to build the Mother’s Memorial now located in East Creek Park".
