Alhamdulillah, akhirnya Ernie dapat berjumpa Sherryn

Setelah turun dari bus, otw jalan nak balik rumah, Ernie disapa oleh seorang perempuan local mid 40 i think. "Essalamualeikum, slamat tengahari" with her english slang. Terkezut. tapi terus menjawab salam. "Waalaikumslam wbt. err, slamat tgahari". Then she asked me "  Are you Masitah's housemate?" while giving me her very nice smile. "Err.. yes",

Masa tu Ernie dah boleh mengagak siapa beliau. She is Sherryn, perempuan yang selalu Kak Mas ckp dekat Ernie because she's interested in Islam. Memang Ernie nak sangat jumpa beliau dan Alhamdulillah Allah dah mempertemukan Ernie dengan Sherryn hari ni (2nd Feb). MashaAllah what a grace and beautiful lady I can say.

Sherryn cakap dia baru saje message Kak Mas sebab die nak kerumah Kak Mas. Unfortunately Kak Mas bekerja.

Otw jalan, Sherryn ajak Ernie lunch di rumahnya and have a cup of coffee or tea. She said there are so many thing that she want to share it with me. W/o  hesistation, Ernnie  said yes. time berjalan2 tu, Sherryn mentioned about Kak Mas, Kak Yani, and others and she said how good they are to her. I am so happy to hear that and yes, mereka semua sangat baik :)). First Q Ernie tanye Sherryn, are u already a muslim? She said "I'm a muslim at heart. "

Senyum mendengar jawapan Sherryn sebab Ernie tau ada beberapa sebab yang menghalang Sherryn dari menjadi Muslim secara zahir. Interestingly, Sheryn baru balik dari Masjid West End. She went there sebab nak tengok masjid tu for the first time (Which Ernie pun tak pernah pergi lagi) :)

Sampai di rumah Sheryn, beliau ajak Ernie masuk. She introduced me with her dog name Gabby. Quite a size. A bit takut. tapi dog tu dekat laman luar so its fine :). Lovely dog I would say sebab diam je.. tak barking pun bile Ernie masuk :)). Sherryn ckp die nak masak spaghetti for lunch dan Ernie angguk tanda okay (I love spaghetti btw).

Mintak kebenaran Sherryn nak solat zuhur, terus die masuk dalam bilik ambil sejadah. Ernie tanya husband die tau tak pasal sejadah ni? Sherryn ckp tau je tapi ingat for decoration :) Ernie solat dekat ruang tamu, dan Sherryn dekat dapur tengah preparing lunch.

She made spaghetti with tomato sauce and parsley and WITH TUNA. At first macam adeh, tapi makan je, sebab tomato puree yang Sherryn letak banyak. So mmg tak rase pun tuna tu sangat. First time having TUNA here in Aussie. fuuh~ and its not as bad as I imagine actually. (Bad Ernie). So lepas ni hopefully boleh start makan kot kalau tak bau~ huuuuu..

Banyak yang Sherryn share with me about how she know Islam, (Through reading, because she reads a lot!). Sherryn pun mentioned yg media dok ckp pasal Islam ni terrorist tapi Muslim yang Sherryn kenal sangat opposite dengan apa yang media uar-uarkan.

Habis lunch, Sherryn showed me some of the clothes including jubah, abaya, scarf, punjabi suits, that she got form her friends (Kak Mas gave her a very very beautiful jubah and telekung. Sangat lawa). She also showed me all Quran that she got. three in total, 2 are just translation. Sherryn said she love Surah ke 81 :  At-Takwir. She said it is a nice verse.

A bit kelakar bile saye pergi mane2, as in when i changed my position, die akan tny nak ke kipas point to you :). sebab Sherryn rase Ernie sangat panas pakai  tudung.

Lepas showed all those stuff, Sherryn pergi dapur buat coffee. Minum coffee sambil chatting2 which is so nice.

Ernie beransur pulang dari rumah Sherryn dalam pukul 2.45. Alhamdulillah it was a nice memory that I will remember. :) dan InsyaAllah esok Ernie akan teman Sherryn ke West End mosque sebab Sherryn nak solat zuhur kat sana. InsyaAllah :)

Thank you Allah sebab mempertemukan Ernie dengan Kak Yani, dan Kak Mas seterusnya dapat berjumpa Sherryn :)
